  Didn’t get the chance to catch a show here but had to stop and check out the building itself. The Roxy has such a unique look, you can tell it’s got a lot of history. Would love to come back sometime and actually see a performance. Just from the outside it seems like a really cool spot.

  We had a great time at the Roxy today! Old timey feel with a gentleman at the door in a suit that took our tickets. An easy to use concession stand with great affordable options! The total for two tickets, a large popcorn, and a large soda was $17.80, which is the price of a single ticket anywhere else. The screen and seating is adequate and older, but you get more than what you pay for overall. We will be back!

  We love the Roxy. It is an amazing place full of nostalgia. Memories of going to the movies, getting popcorn and a drink maybe some candy. The art deco decor is wonderful. Sometimes an organist plays before the previews. And often Rick Wolfe, the owner, will be there in person. He’s a really nice guy. You can’t beat the price! Five bucks a movie at 7 PM with a matinee on Wednesday at 1 PM. Northampton is a bit of a trek, but it’s worth it. Check it out yourselves.

  As of the date of this review, Roxy is charging only $5 for any showtime, and they're showing first run movies, which is incredible. However, the seats are first come, first served, so I recommend you show up early. Unfortunately you may have to wait in line for the ticket window to open, outside on the sidewalk, so dress for the weather. But for only $5 to see a first run movie? Worth it. The only other drawback is that the bathrooms are up a flight of stairs, so if you have trouble with stairs, make sure you use the bathroom before you go to the theater. But there's more good news: free parking in the lot directly behind the theater. The prices of concessions are also a lot lower than you'd pay at a chain theater, and the theater itself is absolutely gorgeous. See pictures on their website. It's a perfectly preserved throwback to the days of silent films, complete with a stage, a curtain and an organ at the front of the theater! And they do sometimes have live stage shows too! I live an hour away, but sometimes my family and I make the trip because the price and the experience are worth it.

  What a great nostalgic experience. Can't beat the prices. Employees were very friendly. The theater looked great.
