One of my neighbors moved to NC a few years ago and highly recommended "Hammer's" whom she hired. (New Horizons and Hammer's merged.). New Horizons was farther from our house than many other companies, and we paid for travel time, but hiring them was worthwhile. I have hired movers several times before, and New Horizons did the best job protecting our furniture and belongings that I have ever witnessed. No damage at all!
