Real Estate Agents & Teams
The locals who buy and sell here every week.
How to pick an agent
A buyer's agent finds and negotiates your purchase; a listing agent markets and sells your home. Interview two or three before signing anything, and ask specifically about the townships you are shopping. Hyper-local knowledge of assessments, septic norms, and school boundaries is the whole value.
In Pennsylvania every agent works under a sponsoring broker and holds a state salesperson license you can verify in seconds on PALS. REALTOR is not a synonym for agent: it means the agent belongs to the National Association of REALTORS and is bound by its code of ethics.
Commission is negotiable and should be discussed up front, in writing. Ask any agent for their last few closed sales near you, how many clients they are carrying right now, and whether you will work with them personally or with their team.
